Do I need to calibrate the Notio before each use?

Do I need to calibrate the Notio before each use?

It is not necessary to calibrate the Notio before each test session. Once the initial calibration is performed and your new calibration factor replaces the default value of 1.39 in the app, there is no need to recalibrate the unit. However, for each change that affects the spatial position of the Notio, the Pitot tube must be recalibrated, either by making a 6 km round trip (on the road) or two 3000 m intervals (indoor velodrome)*.

To reinforce the value of the calibration factor, you can multiply the sampling. As such, you can make several round trips or intervals - during the same period - compile the resulting calibration factors and make an average of them. This average will become your reference value**.
