Find velodrome laps

Find velodrome laps

The Golden Cheetah functionality to “Find intervals…” has been improved by adding a method to find laps in a velodrome (still in beta).
It can be used for outdoor and indoor tracks. It is based on the Notio sensors.

First, you will need to compute the ride in Golden Cheetah.
Then, in the sidebar where all the rides are listed, right-click on your activity and select “Find intervals…”.

A new window will appear. There are different methods to find intervals. Choose the Velodrome method. There will be an option to set the search parameters.

Click on the Find button.

Note: If the method is greyed out, it means you didn’t compute the ride. Do so to be able to continue.

All: search the entire ride.
Time: search over a specified time frame.
Distance: search between two points along the route.

You will get a list of laps found. You can add it to your activity and begin to analyze your data.

NOTE: A velodrome lap begins halfway during a 180 turn. It will be completed after a full tour.
