What happens when cars are passing by while I am testing?

The Pitot tube is hugely sensitive to any turbulence. That's why we ask Notio users to calibrate their devices or perform their tests on the quietest roads. Every type of wind gust, including the one caused by cars passing by or towards the cyclist, can affect the calibration or the testing session.

When a car passing by, press the lap button on your Garmin. It is an excellent way to identify the turbulence's impact during your test back in Golden Cheetah Notio. You'll know it affects the wind flow on your CdA. The wind tab should be good enough to measure/detect that impact.
